Can You Feel the Love Tonight?

Ok. My school is now offically the nerdi-nesst school there is. Seriously. WE had a, cough, interesting assembly today in honor of our fall sports. The theme was something about tiki tourches and fire... I guess. So, all the different peoples tried to get us all "fired up" such as the Naked Viks and the cheerleaders. Finally, who saved us but the drumline... yeah. The cheerleaders couldn't get us "fired up" but the band could. But it's all good, cause band is pretty nifty - right after us orch dorks. Yeah. I've been told a marching orchestra would be "strollings strings."
So, uym, I'm 1 year older since I last blogged - thanks to all who reconized that day AND International Talk Like a Pirate Day - it made me very ahppy. I got to see Wicked for my britjhday and that was VERY nice. Awesome. I loved it! And I can't tell you any more since someof my firneds are still gonna see it and haven't. But it was simply amazing and I was smiling the whole time.
Raffi is officially a hero of mine. I just got his "Bananananananananphone" album and it's very cool. You guys who haven't heard him hve no idea on how awesome he is. I wonder if he has a fan club? If so, I'd join.

So for my birthday, I needed a project, and Emily gave that to me. I interviewed 94 poeoples! asking them "Can you feel the love tonight?" And put it together in a little film that is awesome. So click right here...

So, so long, and thanks ya'll...

Maggies' Back to School Guide for Absolute Success

Hi y’all. I’m over here in Kenmore and loving Inglemoor. It truly is awesome. Yep. So for all of you not at Inglemoor, I’m sorry. Here’s my schedule:

1 – Math – Blockhus

2 – Spansih 200 – Harris

3 – Orchestra – Rice

4 – Chemistry – Emery

5 – English – Bliss

6 – History – Rose

Yep. I’ve got most of my friends in most of my classes. But I’m hating the workload already. Literally, the load. My backpack currently weighs 22% of my body mass. And this is just the second week! But it’s fun. Here is Maggies tips to survive high school:

  1. Avoid getting between hugging couples – they’ll squish you dead! Seriously, when they hug, they take up twice as much room so just avoid them all together.
  2. It can be good to be short. I can get through the tall people fast.
  3. Introduce yourself to people. Then you make lots of new friends.
  4. Be good in class for the first week. Once your on the teacher’s good side, you can misbehave and they won’t care.
  5. Don’t take IB classes – they’re intense. Ha!
  6. Avoid getting into Spanish classes with 4 Alex’s.
  7. Get some lunch buddies.
  8. Find a class you’re really comfortable in, and then be random. When you have to hold it in all day, it’s good to have a break. For me, it’s orchestra. I get to go crazy in there.
  9. Have a truly awesome blast and forget about what others think - then you find the people that are spiffy!

There you have it. A survival guide from me. So yeah. I have two textbooks already, both weigh way to much – like a hippopotamus on steroids. So yeah. I’m hoping this year will continue to be awesome. Yeah. I also had a photoshoot with myself on August 16th and I’ve included the photos. They’re of me and my favorite color. If you want a copy of the photo, hard copy in print, just ask and I’ll get one to you. It’s one of my favorite pics I’ve ever done.

Orange Bathroom

Before you do anything and read any more, click here. Okay. Life is still hectic as ever. I'm cramming in birthday presents... and I went thrift store shopping with Caitie. And that was awesome. Truly pretty cool. I even got ruler suspenders! and a Christian shirt that says "start a revolution". That all makes me happy. And guess what else? Caitie looks just like Georige. See?

I love going to my Grandma's house. She lives in Seattle and yesterday would have been my grandfather's (he's not alive nymore) 81st birthday. But they have a house just like mine. With a recording studio and all and a wall of records. Here's me down there playing the piano and doing the classic Asian pose in the orange bathroom:

I'm still making videos. You should check some out. Yesterday, 34 people visitied Tasha's Video. That amkes me happy.Yesterday, all my videos althoughetherer were viewd 166 tmies. Taht is ptrety cool to me. Yep. I tnihk it's rwtehar sfpfiy.

I just got my bus schedule and it makes me want to gag. I have to be at the bustop by 6:47 each morning - every week day for the next 3 years. And I like to have my "me" time each morning, which is about 15 minutes so I'm getting up pretty early these high school years. When does everyone else have to catch a bus, or leave their house to walk there. Jenny - I don't evven want to know how late you get to sleep in till. Here are the bus schedules - I'm on bus T-74. And each bus is assigned at symbol. I never use them, but this year I'm on the bicycle bus, last year it was the lighthouse bus. I'm beyond estatic.

Versace?

Is anyone else not entirely enjoying Spaces new "Live" system?

Summer is going on and I don't know if I'm ready for school yet -- I am ready for my birthday, though, in a
month and 11 days. Not a lot eh? Er. It was my grampa's Φ79thΦ birthday today and my two girl cousins got excited, cause he was wearing a Versace shirt (say Ver-saw-chee or something like that) I'd never heard of it, but apparently it's really big. Like what movie stars wear on the red carpet. I found it ammusing that my grandpa was wearing "that fine of clothes." Apparently, grandma had gotten it at a garage sale for rags but grandpa chose to wear it. That's not rags to riches but riches to rags. Can't say I care about designer clothes, but it was still funny.

Tomarrow is the 10th, and some 9th graders, day out to Alderwood Mall (yep). It'll be cool. I still say Seattle would've been awesome, but it wouldn't work well with this group yet. Maybe a smaller group with some older kids *cough* emily *cough*

I've been going crazy with Caitie and Jenny lately. Me and Jenny had a sleepover and made some more videos. Check them out down to the right of this column. They're hosted at video.google.com. Cool place. And then me and Caitie danced, decorated a cake, and had sleepovers with lots of little kids and went swimming. It's all cool. Hold on and I'll get some pics up too.

I  finally got my Orange Converse.I've been waiting to get Converse for a while because I wanted orange ones and not too expensive either. I've had my black ones for a while (I got them for $5 in new condition!) but I wanted orange. So finally I have them. I'm happy. To see a video with my black ones, click here. I think these are spiffy too. Here are some pics of my orange ones:

This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 2.5 License. This might seem kinda stupid, probably is, but I really wanna become a photographer... and part of that includes copyrights. I'm currently giving yall lots of slack. You can manipulate (change the colors, make colleges, but not cropping. I would rawther you didn't cut people out of my pictures. I have them in there for a reason. If it's on my blog, it's my pic and I don't want cropping.) it and put it on your blogs and MySpaces... but here's the catch. With this doothingymabobber, you gotta give me the credit. Sorry if I sound selfish. But with this, if you put this on your blog, you need a small "Pics by Maggie" or "Pics by Maggie Hubert" thingy on there.... somehow. So in MySpace, if you're gonna use these, in the "descriptions" area, just plop this in after your caption and same for in MSN Spaces. For MSN Spaces, just add it into the descriptions. Sorry, I was just seeing my pics everywhere on the internet and people asking who took them or complimenting them, and here I was at the computer thinking... whoa, I did that. Person, I did that. Don't know if you care or anything... but so long...
